Arizona..Chicago..Washington DC whats the difference
Until now I had hope that while the federal government is mired in scandals and corruption we may have a chance to save a few states and had a hope that Arizona would be one of them along with Texas. However after the events of the past week by our Governor I now see that Arizona politics are played with the same disrespect for rule of law as the Federal government and in Arizona the politicians close to us also ignore the opposition and constitution and do as their lobbyist say knowing the real money and power comes from them (or as one of Obama's Czars said "We kind of agree with Mao that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun). In any case these politicians at all levels know and understand that real power does not from the people who elect them. Whether you agreed or disagreed with the medicaid expansion this type of backroom deal and suppressing any debate is not what can happen in a free republic and Arizona has now joined Washington in using Rules for Radicals as the play book.
This video along with this email from a representative should explain what happened enough to enrage anyone who cares about transparency and rule of law.

Bill Whittle on The Narrative: The origins of Political Correctness
Are we fortunate or cursed to live in a time in which we get to watch the rapid disintegration and demise of what was once known as the greatest nation on earth, now or ever. This isn't new and I may have posted before but is so well done as are most of Bill Whittle's posts.

WOUNDED KNEE AND GUN CONTROL
Received this in an email and couldn't find it on the internet but in looking it appears to be historically accurate. Determining accurace is more and more difficult with the rewriting of our history that constantly occurs to accomodate new government agendas.

Lesson to be Learned on the Anniversary of Wounded Knee
December 29, 2012 marks the 122nd Anniversary of the murder of 297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
Federal agents and members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms “for their own safety and protection”murdered these 297 people, in their winter camp. The slaughter began AFTER the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms. When the final round had flown, of the 297 dead or dying, two thirds (200) were women and children.
Around 40 members of the 7th Cavalry were killed, over half cut down by friendly fire from the Hotchkiss guns of their overzealous comrades-in-arms. Twenty members of the 7th Cavalry were deemed "National Heroes" and awarded the Medal of Honor for their acts of cowardice.
We do not hear of Wounded Knee today. It is not mentioned in our history classes or books. What little does exist about Wounded Knee is normally the sanitized "Official Government Explanation" or the historically and factually inaccurate depictions of the events leading up to the massacre on the movie screen.
Wounded Knee was among the first federally backed gun confiscation attempts in United States history. It ended in the senseless murder of
297 people.
Before you jump on the emotionally charged bandwagon for gun-control, take a moment to reflect on the real purpose of the Second Amendment- The right of the people to take up arms in defense of themselves, their families, and property in the face of invading armies or an oppressive government. The argument that the Second Amendment only applies to hunting and target shooting is asinine. When the United States Constitution was drafted "hunting" was an everyday chore carried out by men and women to put meat on the table each night, and "target shooting" was an unheard of concept, musket balls were a precious commodity in the wilds of early America, and were certainly not wasted "target shooting".
The Second Amendment was written by people who fled oppressive and tyrannical regimes in Europe, and it refers to the right of American citizens to be armed for defense purposes should such tyranny rise in the United States.
As time goes on the average citizen in the United States continues to lose personal freedom or "liberty". Far too many times unjust bills are passed and signed into law under the guise of "for your safety" or "for protection". The Patriot Act signed into law by G.W. Bush, then expanded and continued by Barack Obama is just one of many examples of American citizens being stripped of their rights and privacy for "safety". Now, the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is on the table, and will, most likely be taken away for "our safety".
Before any American citizen blindly accepts whatever new firearms legislation is about to be doled out, they should stop and think about something for just one minute- Evil does exist in our world. It always has and always will. Throughout history evil people have committed evil acts. In the Bible one of the first stories is that of Cain killing Abel. We cannot legislate "evil" into extinction. Good people will abide by the law; defective people will always find a way around it.
And another thought Evil exists all around us, but looking back at the historical record of the past 200 years across the globe, where is "evil" and "malevolence" most often found? Evil exists in the hands of those with the power- governments. The greatest human tragedies on record and the largest loss of innocent human life can be attributed to governments.
Who do governments target? "Scapegoats" and "enemies" within their own borders...but only after they have been disarmed to the point where they are no longer a threat. Ask any Native American, and they will tell you it was inferior technology and lack of arms that contributed to their demise. Ask any Armenian why it was so easy for the Turks to exterminate millions of them, and they will answer "We were disarmed before it happened". Ask any Jew what Hitler's first step prior to the mass murders of the Holocaust was- it was confiscation of firearms from the people.
Wounded Knee is the prime example of why the Second Amendment exists, and why we shouldn't be in such a hurry to surrender our Right to Bear Arms. Without the Second Amendment we have no right to defend our families and ourselves.

CNBC HAS SOME RATIONAL COMMENTS
In the first 13 minutes of this video are some actual thoughts. While I think Ron Paul has some overly simplistic solutions that I don't think will work he at least has a real grasp on the magnitude of the problem and how serious it is. I think he and his son are about the most realistic politicians in Washington. Then there is another guest here that points out what I have been saying about the tax collections and the deficit. You can only balance it if you double everyone's taxes unless you cut entitlement/government spending and even then you have not addressed paying down the debt or interest at more realistic rates than the near zero we are now paying.

The Obama Deception HQ Full length version
Three years ago I dismissed this film as crazy and today after three years of watching the Obama lie and the Obama machine fundamentally transform this country either I am now crazy too or this film is more true than I realized at the time. Watching it today is more upsetting than it was then because we have seen the result support the predictions.

A LAWYER WITH A BRIEFCASE CAN STEAL MORE THAN A THOUSAND MEN WITH GUNS.
Got this in an email and is very true. Lawyers are one of our biggest problems as they are a leach on productive society much the same as Government. Lawyers have infiltrated government leadership and turned it into massive wealth redistribution just as they have used the legal system to do while enriching themselves personally along the way. I will say that citizens united has been good for business in this election along with the constant attacks on success by liberals. In this election the conservatives are spending money in an attempt to save the country and this is the first election since tracking began by opensecrets.org in 1989 that conservatives are able and willing to match or exceed the spending of unions and lawyers. http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/list.php
The Lawyers' Party, By Bruce Walker
The Democratic Party has become the Lawyer's Party.
Barack Obama is a lawyer. Michelle Obama is a lawyer.
Hillary Clinton is a lawyer. Bill Clinton is a lawyer.
John Edwards is a lawyer. Elizabeth Edwards was a lawyer.
Every Democrat nominee since 1984 went to law school (although Gore did not graduate).
Every Democrat vice presidential nominee since 1976, except for Lloyd Bentsen, went to law school.
Look at leaders of the Democrat Party in Congress:
Harry Reid is a lawyer. Nancy Pelosi is a lawyer.
The Republican Party is different.
President Bush is a businessman.
Vice President Cheney is a businessman.
The leaders of the Republican Revolution:
Newt Gingrich was a history professor.
Tom Delay was an exterminator. Dick Armey was an economist.
Speaker of the House John Boehner was a plastic manufacturer.
The former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist is a heart surgeon.
Who was the last Republican president who was a lawyer? Gerald Ford, who left office 31 years ago and who barely won the Republican nomination as a sitting president, running against Ronald Reagan in 1976.
The Republican Party is made up of real people doing real work, who are often the targets of lawyers.
The Democrat Party is made up of lawyers. Democrats mock and scorn men who create wealth, like Bush and Cheney, or who heal the sick, likeFrist, or who immerse themselves in history, like Gingrich. The Lawyers Party sees these sorts of people, who provide goods and services that people want, as the enemies ofAmerica .. And, so we have seen the procession of official enemies, in the eyes of the Lawyers Party, grow.
Against whom do Hillary and Obama rail?....Pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, hospitals, manufacturers, fast food restaurant chains, large retail businesses, bankers, and anyone producing anything of value in our nation. This is the natural consequence of viewing everything through the eyes of lawyers. Lawyers solve problems by successfully representing their clients, in this case the American people. Lawyers seek to have new laws passed, they seek to win lawsuits, they press appellate courts to overturn precedent, and lawyers always parse language to favor their side.
Confined to the narrow practice of law, that is fine. But it is an awful way to govern a great nation. When politicians as lawyers begin to view some Americans as clients and other Americans as opposing parties, then the role of the legal system in our life becomes all-consuming. Some Americans become adverse parties of our very government. We are not all litigants in some vast social class-action suit. We are citizens of a republic that promises us a great deal of freedom from laws, from courts, and from lawyers.
Today, we are drowning in laws; we are contorted by judicial decisions; we are driven to distraction by omnipresent lawyers in all parts of our once private lives. America has a place for laws and lawyers, but that place is modest and reasonable, not vast and unchecked. When the most important decision for our next president is whom he will appoint to the Supreme Court, the role of lawyers and the law in America is too big.
When House Democrats sue America in order to hamstring our efforts to learn what our enemies are planning to do to us, then the role of litigation in America has become crushing.
Perhaps Americans will understand that change cannot be brought to our nation by those lawyers who already largely dictate American society and business. Perhaps Americans will see that hope does not come from the mouths of lawyers but from personal dreams nourished by hard work. Perhaps Americans will embrace the truth that more lawyers with more power will only make our problems worse.
The United States has 5% of the world’s population and 66% of the world’s lawyers! Tort (Legal) reform legislation has been introduced in congress several times in the last several years to limit punitive damages in ridiculous lawsuits such as spilling hot coffee on yourself and suing the establishment that sold it to you and also to limit punitive damages in huge medical malpractice lawsuits. This legislation has continually been blocked from even being voted on by the Democrat Party. When you see that 97%of the political contributions from the American Trial Lawyers Association go to the Democrat Party, then you realize who is responsible for our medical and product costs being so high!

NRA: Borderless
I took a border tour to ABP(
http://www.americanborderpatrol.com/ )in June and can tell you first hand there is no real commitment to securing our border. It is all political by those who want a world government and open borders. What our own government is doing is an absolute joke and everyone down there knows it. I was skeptical of their claims at first until I took an unguided walk alone along the border taking pictures and a Border Patrol Agent who was parked looking through binoculars told me the same thing. At that point I hurried back to the group as it scared me to be taking pictures and have someone from American Law enforcement tell me that less than 100 yards away on the other side of an open border I was being watched. He said they knew every picture I had taken and every step I had made. When I asked him who was "they" he said they are drug cartel and human smugglers. At that point I more fully believed the ABP presentation. Another good movie to watch about this is called "They Come to America". (http://www.theycometoamerica.com/ )

Simple and to the point analysis of US Budget
And now just imagine if our interest rates increased to reflect the inflationary policies of the Fed. For simplicity sake just assume the debt starts costing 10% interest or 1.6 trillion on the current debt balance and you have where we should be if the fed were not financing the deficit right now. The total income tax collections would barely cover the interest on the debt.
